What is a Ceramic Coating?
To be technical, a Ceramic Coating is a resin nano technology that chemically bonds to the paint of your vehicle to form a layer of protection and sealant. In plain English, the Ceramic Coating attaches itself to your vehicle’s paint and creates a hardened layer of protection and shine.
How long do Ceramic Coatings last?
With a wide variety of Ceramic Coating products on the market today, from consumer to professional grade, the answer can vary greatly dependant on the product used, preparation process, environment of the vehicle, and maintenance care. Our FEYNLAB coatings are designed to last anywhere from 1 year to 5+ years dpeending on the coating you have installed and how you care for the vehicle. With proper maintenance and care, your coating can absolutely outlive it's warranty period.
What do Ceramic Coatings protect from?
Ceramic Coatings provide outstanding protection from the elements such as UV sunlight damage, oxidation, fading, resists chemicals, mud, and general grime. Your coating will even prevent chemical stains and etching, make cleaning easier and faster, and thanks to the hydrophobic properties, the coating heavily resists chemicals, grime, and contaminants. Our high end professional grade coatings even resist minor swirl marks by creating an ultra slick to the touch surface.
Are there different types of Ceramic Coatings?
There are many different types of Ceramic Coatings, the biggest difference will be if the coating is a consumer grade or professional grade coating. Consumer grade coatings will be easier to use and install -- but will lack the high end protection aspects of a professional grade coating installed by a trained and certified detailer. Overall, a professional grade coating will provide maximum protection and a significantly stronger bond to the paint system. Finally, when installed by a professional, you are backed by manufacturer and installer warranties plus the peace of mind that an expert installed your coating properly.
Do I still have to wash my car?
Absolutely, yes. Ceramic Coatings are not a magic shield and require proper maintenance and care, just as the paint of your vehicle does. Ceramic Coatings will however make the washing process faster and easier than ever thanks to the hydrophobic properties of the coating and the significant chemical resistance. To make this process even easier, we offer an Unlimited Maintenance Wash Program starting at $150/month for all of your coated vehicles.

I was told by my sales person at Alfa about Zac from Spades Motorsports, he came highly recommended and I was told I wouldn't be sorry. I decided to text him right then and there, he responded within mins, I mean seriously, 3mins, right then, I said, "o.k, let's hear the price". Zac went into his information download, which was great, I was given my options and the prices upfront. He proceeds to tell me about his other services, unlimited monthly car wash service and many other services. Prior to this experience I did reach out to another company for my RAM Hemi, so I was not shocked by the pricing, it was right inline with the previous competitor but my price from Zac included both the PPF and Ceramic protective layers. Unlike the previous was just for a 3yr coating. I was sold, now like most I didnt have and extra $3000+ laying around. I infomed him of this and he sent me a link for a financial service that he uses to help with these purchases. AuotPay is set up for 90day pay off. I booked right away. I told my buddy who I had just converted him to Alfa and he is getting the same treatment and services for his 2022 Stelvio.(referral of an extra month added to my already free month of unlimited car washes) I scheduled drop off for my next business trip this way I could drop it off and fly out. Fast forward my business trip gets canceled, me a single Dad, with a hockey playing badass daughter. I need my car, I called to let Zac know the situation and that I might have to cancel due to not being able to not have a car for two full days. The longer I drive it the more risk with Vegas's amazing drivers and roadways..haha Zac fully understanding my situation offer up a complimentary rental vehicle for the duration of my car being absence. I was floored, this is the ultimate customer service, after calling my buddy to tell him of how badass Zac is, Zac texted me back and said they had a cancelation and can move me to drop off and out the door in as originally planned and still offered the rental car. They spent three days on the vehicle to... Read more... get it corrected. Upon completion and during pickup, all I can say is the vehicle looks better than when it was brand new. The team at Spades Motorsports was knowledgeable, professional and you could tell they really loved what they do. One team member told me he personally spent 12 hours on just the hook to remove the oxidation and correct the paint. Would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends or family.

Read more... entire process. We had a “detail” guy do a recent wash on the beast after a few months going without one, and the result was a ton of water spots and swirl marks that left us scrambling. We reached out to Spade Motorsports based on reviews we read, and we are more than thrilled that we did! They took our 4Runner in for the 2 step correction and 5yr ceramic coating over a 2-1/2 day process, of which it was inside their shop the entire time. When we picked it up, the only way I can describe the end result is BETTER THAN NEW!! We are very happy with the result from Spades!! They were able to get out all the water marks that were ALL over the 4Runner and said they got out 90% of the swirl marks, but I’ve been looking for the 10% and can’t find ANY swirl marks!! We have already scheduled our 2 week follow up, and will be getting our future washes and details solely from Spade Motorsports!!
